Orienteering Meet May 26th

There is an Orienteering Meet on May 26th at Centerville Park, Centerville (Map available here: https://avoc.whyjustrun.ca/events/view/3329). Cadets would need to be there at 1045 and the meet starts at 1130. It is a sprint series meet and should not last longer than an hour. Cadets will need to provide their own transportation. Parents may carpool but our staff are not allowed to arrange this.

This is an optional event for cadets, and is also on the same day as the squadron gliding.

Cadets that have not done orienteering yet will go through an information session during ACR Prep in the next few weeks.

Any cadets that wish to attend orienteering must sign up on Lt Roberts’ office door this Wednesday so we can sign up and secure maps.

More information on orienteering can be found here: http://orienteeringns.ca/about-oans/what-is-orienteering/
